Abstract

The article presents the research results of different types of attitude to the disease, the severity of depressive and anxiety disorders, their relationship with clinical signs when patients have acute cerebral stroke, with neurological disorders of mild and moderate degree. The presented forms of affective disorders have their own specifics in cerebral stroke: anxious and depressive reactions in most cases accompany one another, a significant risk factor is the precedence of a psychotraumatic situation, the absence of strokes and severe mobility limitations in the anamnesis and high personal anxiety. All these factors are associated with the reduction of treatment and rehabilitation effectiveness which leads to decrease of patients' life quality, an increase of burden on their relatives, medical staff and society as a whole.
