Abstract

For the period from 2004 year till 2006 year were carried out 10 staged cavernomyoplasty. The progressive phase of the specific process accompanying by the massive bacterioexcretion and multi-drug resistance were determined in all cases. The staged cavernomyoplasty was carried out in all cases. The argon plasma coagulation of the cavity walls were carried out during cavernostomy and every two weeks in the process of the open cavity cure under the general anesthesia accompanying with antiseptics and specific drugs during the intensive system specific therapy. The results of the cure at 80% of the patients were evaluated as positive. The cavity in the operation place without bacterioexcretion were determined at two patients (20 %) according computed tomography (CT). The argon plasma coagulation may be used as the additional method of cavity cure during the staged caverno- myoplasty at the patients with the progressing destructive pulmonary tuberculosis with multi-drug resistance (MDR).
