Epidemiological characteristics of osteochondrosis in the Northern territories

Abstract

By continuous research, we analyzed data on all hospitalizations of patients with spondylogenic neurological disorders in 1998 - 2007 (1662). Most of the patients hospitalized for neurologists-ical manifestations of osteochondrosis of the lumbar spine 804 people. In this group DOS taverna dominated by women. Patients with a radiculopathy passionatecutie make up 16.6% of all hospitalized vertebral pathology. The number of young patients significantly (p<0.05) greater than the number of the elderly.
