Capacities of spiral computed tomography in diagnosis for intrathoracic lymph nodes lesions in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis
Keywords: tuberculosis, spiral computed tomography, SCT, lymph nodes
AbstractThe investigation is based on the results of dynamic observation and treatment of 96 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, suspected mediastinum adenopathy. All patients were X-ray examined, including the conducting of a SCT study. It has found, that SCT allows to carry out a visual observation of intrathoracic lymph nodes, to estimate proportions and changes of the structure. Signs of specific lesion of lymph nodes were formulated. Combined examination, including SCT, permitted to diagnose the specific character of adenopathy, i.e. to determine primary genesis of the disease in 43,7% and secondary - in 56,3% of patients .
