Brugada syndrome - a clinical case

  • Е. Р. Хайрутдинов Russian Cardiology Research and Production Center, Moscow, Russia

We’ve observed a case of the Brugada syndrome in the emergency department of RCSPC. The given case has shown necessity of the broad diagnostic knowledge and circumspection from the clinician in acute myocardial infarction diagnostic. The presence of the electrocardiographic signs that are common for acute myocardial infarction could have led in this case to diagnostic mistake and incorrect treatment. The complete collection of anamnesis, analysis of all clinical data and carrying out of additional diagnostic procedures have allowed to establish the correct diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatment.
